5. October, 2009 - Trafalgar Square and Westminster
Right off Trafalgar Square is the National Portrait Gallery.
The gallery is huge--I was there for about two hours, and I only had progressed from the Tudors to Charles IV.
Nearby, there are seemingly hundreds of theatres.
Here's a view of the Theatre Royal, on Drury Lane, I believe.
Oliver Twist was playing at one theatre. I'm not sure if these posters were part of the publicity for the production, or just a general warning...
The east view of Covent Gardens. There's always street musicians and tons of tourists around here.
